Hi everyone,
Ros and I are now back in the fast lane with work and sorting out the bills. Back to reality. It had to come eventally.
It has given me a chance to investigate what the Children First Foundation have been doing during the year and some terrific news has been shown to me.
Here is some of the news:
Our Woman of Achievement
Margaret Smith, the Foundation’s CEO, was one of four finalists in the prestigious BrainLink “2008 Women of Achievement” Award. The award recognises women who hold multi dimensional roles in the community. At a lunch of around 400 guests at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne, women who were ‘silent achievers’ and who had outstanding outcomes in an area not often recognised by business women’s awards, were celebrated.
Congratulations to Margaret who has overseen the growth of the Foundation and its capacity to help disadvantaged children in Australia and overseas.

Our love and thoughts are with them always.
With Christmas approaching, please spare a thought towards the Children First Foundation and make a donation either through the Bendigo Bank, Children First Camel Trek Account, anywhere around Australia or through the foundations website.
Have a Merry Christmas and we look forward to being in contact with more camel adventures next year.
Love To all
Russ and Ros
