Yunta to Coombah, across the S.A and NSW border

August 25, 2009
Hi everyone,
just a quick blog to let you know we have crossed the S.A. and NSW borders and are now well on the way to entering Victoria at Mildura from the NSW side on the 2/9/09 approximately, give or take a day or so but we are pushing to make this date a reality.

We have met some fantastically supportive people like the folk at Coombah Roadhouse.
We have been cross countrying for weeks now, getting some good kms done but going through some horrific weather. It’s been tough and veryhard at times.
Both of us are in good spirits though and very much looking forward to crossing the Murray River.

News from the Children First Foundation is that the conjoined twins are progressing well and all is in order for the next round of medical procedures they will be undertaking. Our hearts are with them and those at the foundation.

Please keep the fundraising efforts happening. The response is overwhelming and increasing in pace. Thank you to all of those who have been putting in so much effort and time into raising funds for the Children First Foundation. An awsome effort.

Our Melbourne date is still set for the 22/11/09 from Government House and all is looking good for a massive turnout of people walking with us down Swanston Street to the Royal Children’s Hospital to say thank you to Moira, MArg and all of those at the Foundation for their selfless work.

Cheers for now and see you in Victoria.
